Director of Software Engineering
We are seeking a Director of Software Development for the contextual advertising network and division. This advertising team builds and manages systems with extreme high performance and availability. We serve and respond to 200 millions of requests per day, and have an ambitious growth plan to expand, while maintaining response latencies in the milliseconds and meeting strict SLA requirements. Some of the technical challenges include dealing with big data requests, optimizing ad targeting across publisher properties using predictive modeling and inventory management.
Description:
The Director of Software Development is responsible for taking the vision of the management and converting it into working systems. The individual must understand the market so that the products and technologies can quickly adapt to business needs. The candidate will be responsible for hiring, road mapping and delivering highly competitive products. The Director of Software Development must have a good outlook on the business in order for the team to build out technologies that are ahead of the competition. This individual will be responsible for translating business requirements into repeatable design strategies and patterns that allow for adaptability, scalability, availability and reusability across all company solutions. The director of software development will help move the business forward by making things happen fast and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and a team of up to10 software engineers, delivering quality, on-time, and on-budget projects.
- Responsible for all the software development within the department
- Work with the VP Engineering and Product Architect to enforce company coding standards, development process and code reviews.
- Maintaining software applications/operating systems according to business needs
- Manage Timelines and customer expectations
- Manage software team productivity
- Perform feasibility analysis on new development platforms and frameworks.
- Manage the day-to-day development aspects of multiple projects; requirements documentation and analysis, scoping, planning, engineering, implementation, and new product introduction.
- Take proactive escalation of probable system problems or design flaws to upper management before serious impact on ROI
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Recruit, train and retain internal technical staff.
- Provide strategic support to executive leadership team as needed
- Learn, maintain and enhance the core software engine
- Help with architecture of the overall system.
- Establish a simple but effective development process and make sure it is observed.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership capabilities and management experience
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Must be able to present and argue at all levels of management
- Good verbal and written communication skills are a must
- Superior organizational skills
- 10+ years of experience leading development teams
- Experience building highly scalable server applications and APIs
- Hands-on development and architecture experience in open source technologies including: Python, PHP, Google App Engine, Amazon EC2, Hadoop and MySQL
- Demonstrated resource planning, estimation, QA and release management
- Process-driven and understands the importance of software quality
- Knowledge of multiple software development methodologies (OOP, RAD, TDD, etc)
Education and Experience:
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of software development management experience within a high technology environment, managing programs in the $.5 Million to $10 Million range.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience as a senior engineer, ideally developing and implementing enterprise applications based on PHP, Java and MySQL.

We’re seeking a Director of Human Resources who will contribute to the conception, implementation and the management of programs, processes and innovative services to support the strategies and goals of the company. Requirements:
- Minimum ten (10) years of human resources experience
- Minimum four (4) years of organizational development work and experience in structural reorganization
- Skilled in project planning, evaluation and feedback tools, performance evaluation tools, strategic planning, organizational surveys and tools, and in an internal consulting
- Knowledge of IT companies, the Internet Industry and Web Based Businesses
- Strong work ethic and project management skills
- Ability to focus on strategic goals while meeting the company’s tactical needs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (French and English)
- Knowledge of MS Office, Power Point, Visio and Project software

As a Senior Associate you will serve as a liaison between our clients and potential recruits. We are seeking a strategic “hunter” to assist in the development and fulfillment of client expectations and needs.
The primary duties of the Senior Associate are to build long-term relationships with industry candidates, recruit from targeted client competitors, and manage a pipeline of passive candidates. In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must be able to understand and manage the entire hiring process with clients, recruits, internal staff and external vendors. Our Senior Associates either work independently or in a managed team capacity. Individual will be working on fulfilling the needs of our key accounts or outsourced BPO/RPO contracts. Depending on needs, candidate may also be on-site supporting our Management Consultants and Business Partners.

Experience Required

- Understanding and experience in utilizing a CRM and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Ability to utilize multiple recruitment sources (internet, direct sourcing, networking, associations, database mining, social forums)
- 4 year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
