    We are looking for a permanent, in-house developer/programmer to join the current technical team within the web production division. This position is ideally for an individual who can work at corporate headquarters in Los Angeles with the option to telecomute and/or work remote from home (we can also provide leased office work space). The position will interface with the Los Angeles team and interact with teams and (3) developers across the country.

    Typical Responsibilities

    • Engineer & implement new features inside of our CMS systems, billing software, and affiliate tracking software.
    • Improve our code base on existing software.
    • Optimize and enhance web applications with high volume page requests, data logging/processing, and high performance requirements
    • Integration of 3rd Party APIs across our various technologies.
    • Important focus on documentation and must have the ability to work with a small group of virtual developers

    Requirements

    • Extensive PHP Experience
    • Strong understanding of Ruby, RoR, Rails, SQL, Unix.
    • Experience with HTML, CSS, and Ajax – Javascript.
    • Experience with Agile. TDD, BDD and a DRY mentality.
    • Experience with VC systems such as Subversion, Git or Mercurial.
    • Entrepreneurial – capable of working on a self-sufficient basis and able to identify areas of technical improvement.

    Your primarily responsibilities are to develop positive, on-going, proactive relationships with business clients and potential candidates.

    Responsibilities

    • Network, recruit, and develop relationships with top talent and local employers through superior networking
    • Business development, project and account management
    • Deliver compelling, accurate, unique selling points to candidates and client
    • Build relationships and engage in proactive interactions with passive candidates
    • Provide coaching to client managers on interviewing and selection of top talent.
    • Consult with client group to determine appropriate role, defining responsibilities and requirements for business growth and needs.
    • Participation in intelligence gathering campaigns, infiltration (sourcing) and competitive analysis on assigned client competitors

    Business Development – 40%, Recruitment – 40%, Project Management – 20%

    Experience Required

    • Outside sales experience, preferably in recruiting or consultative sales
    • Experience with internet search and using the internet as a research tool
    • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to handle objectives effectively
    • Superb communications skills; written and verbal
    • 4 year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
